About Vessels For Christ

We Live, We Love,
We Serve

Vessels For Christ Missionary Ministry is an Independent Ministry dedicated to Ministering with our testimony, Music, and the  sharing of  God's word with the countries and the people around the world. God says in Mark 16:15 and Matthew 28:19-20, Go into all the world and preach the Gospel and make disciples of men. The people that God sends Carlene and Cavin to Minister to are seeking God from their heart, with a Hunger and Thirst for God's word that is like none we have ever seen.

Vessels For Christ Missionary and Crusade Ministries has a heart for  making disciples of men and seeing them baptized in the name of the father son and the Holy Spirit as well as holding Revivals, and special services around the world where ever God opens the door for us to Go.. We are not only sharing the word in other countries but we are helping to build churches, schools, orphanages, safe houses-(for women escaping sex trafficing, women/families with children needing safety, etc.), and farms that will produce fresh food and an income. We have either  planted ministries in or we financially support, (as God provides), Ministries in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Pakistan and many other places God has opened doors for us to Minister.. We carry Bibles, and biblical teaching material where ever God sends us.. Your support through prayers, and your love offerings help keep this ministry going as we walk on faith to do what God has called us to do. you can go to our Give page on this site to give your love offering. Just $6 will provide a Bible to someone in another country.

He who gives to the poor will lack nothing.Proverbs 28:27

Luke 6:38 King James Version (KJV)

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

All support is appreciated and we pray for God to open the windows of Heaven upon your life and your faithfulness in giving to help us continue the work He called us to do. We use 100% of all support and offerings to help others and we pray that God bless you 100 fold on your offering. We currently have several projects in Uganda as well as other areas of Africa we are needing help with.

Our Beliefs

Where as, we being an incorporate body of people of like precious faith believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life through his death and the power of his resurrection.

We Declare the Bible to be God's inspired word and the revelation of his will to man and accept it as our rule for Faith and Conduct.

  We Believe Christian fellowship, mutual edification and evangelical effort in the form of local Churches is God's ordained order for his people.

     We Believe each Church is to assemble together for worship, Fellowship, counsel and instruction in the word of God and the work of the ministry.

    We Believe each Church should exercise the gifts and offices provided for in the New Testament to obtain the Christian goal. "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect." (The 5 Fold Ministry)

          We Believe God to be the one true God and that he has revealed himself as the eternally self existent, self revealed, "I AM". and has further revealed himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, ie, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (The Holy Trinity) Baptism by [Deut. 6:4, Mark 12:29, Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 11, Matthew 28:19]

We Believe in water Baptism as the ordinance of Baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the scriptures by all who have repented and believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. This is an outward symbol of cleansing while the heart has already been sprinkled with the Blood of Christ Jesus and been raised with him to walk in the newness of life.

     We Believe in the partaking of the Lord's Supper consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ(2 Peter 1:4) a memorial of his suffering and death ( 1 Corinthians 11:26) a prophecy of his second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26 ) and is enjoined on all believers until he comes.

         We Believe all who turn from their sins and put their faith in Jesus Christ receive a new birth by which their life is renewed by the power of God's Holy Spirit. From that time forward that person has God's Spirit swelling within them enabling them to live a Holy life and power to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.

        We Believe all believers are entitled to the promises of the Father and the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should all experience a deeper spiritual life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This wonderful experience is distinct and subsequent to the experience of the new birth.

     We Believe the scriptures teach a life of Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command. "Be Holy, for I am Holy."  Santification is the will of  God for all believers and should be pursued by walking in obedience to God's Holy Spirit.

    We Believe Deliverance from sickness is provided for us in the atonement and is the  privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4, Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:16, Matthew 8:17)

        We Believe in the raising of hands in worship and the laying on of hands in prayer for healing. God's the same yesterday, today and forever and He still performs miracles.

We believe in one God,

the Father Almighty,

maker of Heaven and Earth,

and of all things visible and invisible;

And in one Lord Jesus Christ,

the only begotten Son of God,

begotten of his Father before all worlds,

God of God, Light of Light,

very God of very God,

befotten, not made,

being of one substance with the Father:

by whom all things are made,

who for us men and for our salvation

came down from Heaven,

and was incarnate by the Holy Ghhost

of the Virgin Mary,

and was made man;

and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;

he suffered and was buried;

and the third day he rose again

according to the scriptures,

and ascended into Heaven,

and sitteth on the right hand of the Father;

and he shall come again, with glory,

to judge both the  quick and the dead;

whose kingdom shall have no end.

  And we believe in the Holy Ghost the Lord, and Giver of LIfe,

who proceedeth from the Father [and the Son]; the

who with the Father and the Son together

is worshiped and glorified;

who spake by the Prophets.

 And we believe one Apostolic Church;

we acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins;

and we look for the resurrection of the dead,

and the life of the world to come.  AMEN

Bishop John Tino is the Director and Lead Pastor for Agape Vessels Of Christ Kenya for Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania. We are honored to have the Maasai and the Churches and Ministry of Bishop Tino  partnered with and a part of Agape Vessels Of Christ Kenya. Below is an exert from Bishop's Autobiography.

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY I AM A BLOOD BORN CHILD OF THE MAASAI COMMUNITY IN KENYA.I was born on 3/5/ 1979 in a small remote and dusty village of Ewuaso Kedong, in Kajiado district in Kenya . I was brought up and cared by my parents with herbal milk, animal fat and meat the normal meal for Maasai children . I grew up in a healthy way and I was inducted into Maasai manhood through herding my father's cattle. I later enrolled in school. I went to school after an order by the area chief that all young Maasai children should be under the tree for their baby class lesson. My parents couldn't see the benefit of going to school and were afraid that I would loose my identity as a Maasai. My parents said it is posible to hold a book in one hand and a spear in another hand to always be ready to face a troubled world.Every young maasai boy yearn to go for cattle raids and even go for LION hurnting to be a HERO ,but to me life was different since in the beginning because of the man who forced my parents for me to be in school. Today as I write my biography , I still treasure the memory of my mentor who contributed so much in my schooling. I got my first formal education under a thorny tree and later enrolled in a primary school that we built and proceeded on to high school. In high school, especially during my secondary school life, the struggle began. Many a time, I was sent home from school because of school fees. My high school education suffered as a result of these periodic interruptions. Fortunately by the grace of God a sympathetic friend/student assisted me with writing materials, I had difficulty paying for. Some boys hated me in school just because I was poor. They were of the opinion that I would never amount to anything for our Maasai community. I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour while in school and was able to help the Najile secondary school Christian Union grow leaps and bounds . I witnessed many fellow students getting saved. At that point I never looked back and I became fully committed to my calling. After my 'o' level , 1999, I was not able to continue to college due to financial constraints. Nonetheless I decided to work fully to my community. I became an active member of the Gospel Evagelistic Missions in Maasailand Through this Ministry, many have been delivered and thousands cured of their illnesses. I am currently involved in other various projects within Maasailand that promotes education. I am helping the community in putting up new churches, providing safe clean water. I also co-ordinate relief food efforts , critical health issues, and the very demanding educational needs of young Maasai children. Despite all these hardship the Maasai Community are becoming aware of the fact that educating their children is an investment whose value is far worth more keeping, than a large herd of Cows to win fame and pride. In a small way, I can and I will thru Christ Jesus empower my people the Maasai to educate their children. Pastor John Tino Teeka
